Vacations

I've been out of town for a little while--we went to Yellowstone and saw lots of buffalo and of course Old Faithful! My parents rented this cabin--it was so nice to stay in! After staying there a couple of days my hubby and I went to Montana and stopped by Spokane to pick up his sister (Tina) and brother-in-law (Augie). It was SO great seeing them!

Then we went on to Montana and surprised Damon's mom--she knew we were coming, but NOT Tina and Augie. We spent and few days there and then drove back home stopping over in Missoula so I could visit with a friend from where I grew up. I'd say an old high-school friend, but that doesn't really fit. I mean if you grew up where I grew up, basically you knew your friends from kindergarten on if not sooner. So yeah. An old friend from where I grew up!

I've never noticed this before, but in Libby AND Missoula the hours of daylight are way different. It's totally strange that I never noticed, but you basically have daylight from 4 am to 11 pm. Yeah, yeah. I mean, if you actually THINK about where you are, etc, it makes sense. But I never noticed on previous visits. Hmmm . . . I'm observant. Oh yeah.

We've been home for about five days--of those five we went to Lagoon one day, and then I had a writing friend come stay at the house. She just left and now my niece is spending the night and we just feel so busy!

But it finally feels like summer! YAY! HEAT! I don't typically love heat, but I've been very cold this winter . . . and now that I'm totally rambling, I'm done talking . . .

Next month? Arizona and New York! August? North Carolina to see some really old friends who we miss A TON!!
