This book seriously rocks. You'll be pulled into the world quickly, a typical teenage girl just trying to live her life. She's got a best friend, her mom's boyfriend sucks, but all in all life isn't horrible. Sure she doesn't have a boyfriend. Sure she feels like someone is watching her sometimes. But all in all, she's about ready to graduate and get on with her life. And with best-friend Lydia right along with her, things are going to work out.

Here are all the elements of a truly great paranormal romance. This isn't your boring, cliche vampire novel going on. Oh no. Believe me, Octavion will make you swoon. And he's not a vampire! What? Like I'm going to tell you WHAT he is? Please. Go read the book!

The plot moved quickly, the characters likable, fun, and intense enough to immerse myself into the book. And I was not disappointed with the kissing scenes at all! Come on girls--admit it--we all like a steamy kissing scene. 

And for all the guys out there who roll their eyes at the kissing? Well, maybe you'll like things better when Kira is shooting her bow and arrow killing another man. Or learning self-defense. Or kicking butt! Okay, well Altair does that more often, but hey. You should check it out too!
